Custom AI agents built around how your business actually works
When off-the-shelf tools don’t fit, we design, build and run AI agents for your specific operations: dispatch, quoting, scheduling, support and back office, with clear guardrails and a person in control.
- AI agent
Morning, this is your AI ops agent. 4 invoices are overdue and 2 orders are missing shipping details. Want me to send reminders and request the details?
- Customer
Yes, go ahead.
- AI agent
Done. One invoice is already paid. I’ll follow up on the rest at 2 PM and flag anything still open.
- Reminders sent
- Missing info requested
- Manager updated
The problem we solve
- Off-the-shelf AI tools do not know your prices, rules or software, so they cannot act on your behalf.
- Dispatch, quoting and scheduling decisions wait on the one person who knows the rules, and work stalls when they are busy.
- AI pilots stall because nobody owns permissions, testing and monitoring once the demo is over.
Set up and managed for you
Ideal for: Businesses with a clear, repetitive process that costs real hours or revenue.
Dispatch and scheduling agents
Agents that assign work, confirm schedules, rebook around changes and chase missing information.
Quoting agents
Agents that read requests, apply your pricing rules and draft quotes for a person to approve.
Support and back-office agents
Agents that answer from your systems, update records and route exceptions to the right person.
Guardrails and permissions
Least-privilege access, clear limits on what each agent may do and human approval for sensitive actions.
Monitoring and improvements
Action logs, alerts on unusual results and regular tuning, so the agent keeps working after launch.
A parts manufacturer answers quote requests the same day
Illustrative example with a fictional business.
Calderwick Precision, a fictional machine shop, receives quote requests by email with drawings attached. A custom agent reads each request, pulls material, quantity and tolerance details from the drawing and email, checks material costs and machine availability in the ERP, and drafts a quote using the shop's own estimating rules. It never sends anything on its own: the draft, its reasoning and any assumptions go to an estimator, who adjusts and approves it. If a drawing is unclear or a tolerance falls outside the shop's capabilities, the agent asks the customer a specific question or flags the request for an engineer. Every action is logged so the team can see what the agent did and why.
From kickoff to live
Discovery (1 to 2 weeks)
We map the process, the systems involved and the decisions the agent may make, then write the agent specification.
Pilot (typically 3 to 8 weeks)
We build and test the agent on real scenarios, launch it with human approval in place and measure it.
Scale
Widen the agent’s scope, add actions or roll out the next agent once the first one is working.
What you receive
- A written agent specification: goals, allowed actions, limits and escalation rules
- Integrations with your systems using least-privilege permissions
- Human approval steps for sensitive actions such as sending quotes, refunds or record changes
- A test suite of real scenarios, run before launch and after every change
- Action logs and an admin view so you can review what the agent did
- Ongoing monitoring with a clear process for improvements
When we’re not the right fit
- Problems where a simple automation or an off-the-shelf tool already does the job well
- Processes with no clear rules or owner, where even experienced staff disagree on the right outcome
- Fully autonomous decisions on high-stakes matters, such as credit, hiring or medical care, without human review

Frequently asked questions
Do you work with our existing software?
Yes. We integrate with your tools through their APIs, webhooks or automation platforms rather than asking you to switch.
How long does a custom agent take?
Most take 3 to 8 weeks from approved scope to launch.
What keeps it from making mistakes?
Clear guardrails, limited permissions, confidence thresholds and human approval for sensitive actions.
What's the difference between an AI agent and an automation?
An automation follows fixed steps. An agent can read messy input, decide which tool to use next and handle variations, all within limits you set. We often combine both: rules for the predictable parts and an agent for the parts that need judgment.
Which actions require human approval?
You decide, and we recommend approval for anything that sends money, commits your business to a customer, changes important records or contacts someone in a sensitive situation. The agent prepares the work and a person approves it.
Which AI models do you build on?
We choose models per task from major providers, using business AI plans whose terms exclude training on your data. Agents are designed so the model can be swapped as better or more cost-effective options appear.
How do we know the agent is working correctly?
Before launch, we test it against a library of real scenarios, including tricky ones. After launch, every action is logged, unusual results trigger alerts, and we rerun the tests whenever we change anything.
