How we use information
- To respond to your requests, schedule calls and prepare proposals.
- To send text messages and make calls you have consented to, including calls that use AI-generated voices where you agreed to them.
- To operate, secure, monitor and improve our websites and the AI agents we provide to clients.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
AI processing
Our AI agents use third-party AI model and voice providers to understand and respond to conversations. We use business plans whose terms say customer content is not used to train their models. Our agents identify themselves as AI assistants.
Calls and recordings
Calls handled by our AI agents may be recorded and transcribed. When a call is recorded, the caller is notified at the start of the call. You can ask for a person or decline recording at any time.
Text messaging and mobile information
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share information only with service providers that help us deliver messages and operate our services, under confidentiality obligations. See our SMS Terms.
Information we process for clients
When our AI agents answer calls or messages on behalf of a client business, we process that information as a service provider (processor) for that client. The client’s privacy policy also applies to those conversations, and requests about that data should go to the client first.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it with service providers that host our systems, deliver calls, texts and email, provide AI models and voices, and help with security, under contracts that limit their use of it; when required by law; to protect rights and safety; or with your consent.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website currently uses only technically necessary storage. If we add analytics or advertising pixels, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Retention
We keep lead and contact information for as long as needed to respond and maintain the business relationship, generally up to 3 years after our last interaction, and consent records for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance (generally at least 5 years). Call recordings are kept for the period agreed with the relevant client, and otherwise deleted within 12 months.
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and role-based access controls. Consent records are append-only, and changes to leads are kept in a timeline. Data is also encrypted at rest by our hosting and database providers. No system is perfectly secure.
Your rights (United States)
Depending on your state (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it) or limit use of sensitive information. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@nevamiss.ai. We will verify your request using information we already hold. An authorized agent may submit a request with your written permission.
Your rights (Canada)
Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws, including Quebec’s Law 25, you may request access to and correction of your personal information and withdraw consent, subject to legal limits. Our privacy officer can be reached at privacy@nevamiss.ai. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy regulator.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Information about Canadian residents may be processed outside Canada and may be accessible to authorities under the laws of those countries.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
